Whenever we think Google that what Google can do NEXT? They always surprise everytime by introducing something we do not think they will do. This time Google has brought Google Chromecast, the wireless streaming device for your TV (HDTV).

Q: What exactly can a Google Chromecast do?
A:
Google Chromecast is able to stream Netflix, Google Music, Google
Play movies, YouTube videos to your HDTV using your smartphone, laptop or tablet.

solutions, like blue-ray player, Roku etc?
A: Not fully right now but very soon it

A: Well, first of all if you do not have
any streamer so far then this is the best option. Cheap, light, small and

A: Not really, you can watch/stream/play
anything that works on Chrome.
Q: Can a Chromecast steam locally saved
data in my PC/Laptop/Smartphone as well?
A: No, so far NO. It only streams online
data.

if the Wi-Fi signal is down?
A: Well, unfortunately a BIG yes to it. The
Chromecast works solely on the Wi-Fi network and if the Wi-Fi signal is weak
than there is no option but to suffer with the slow streaming.

A: Just follow the URL with your browser
and it will add Chromecast to you Wi-Fi network.
Q: Does the Chromecast powers itself off the
HDMI?
A: HDMI alone can't power the Chromecast.
You have to use a USB port of the provided charger to charge Chromecast.
Q: Is the Chromecast packed with all the
required wires and charger?
A: Oh Yes!
Q: What is my TV doesn't Wi-Fi?
A: Ah! No not at all. The Chromecast builds relationship with your Wi-Fi router :). Your TV can stay away from this.
Your TV just needs to have an HDMI port.
Q: I have connected my PC to my TV, then how connecting a Google Chromecast is going to be different?
A: Well, this is a wireless technology. You will get rid of those wire clutters and can place your TV wherever you want in our house. Just a Wi-Fi connection and the TV becomes mobile to move anywhere (withing the Wi-Fi network though)
Q: Can Chromecast be connected another
receiver to which my my TV is connected to?
A: Yes, ONLY if the receiver has HDMI input.
Q: Is the quality of streaming resolution
limited through Google Cast?
A: Well at this point of time the
resolution is 720p, which is maximized. It also depends on the factors like WI-Fi
connection speed, the speed of the laptop/PC/Smartphone.
Q: Why Chrome is in so much demand? It's
mostly sold out in most of the stores!
A: Its Low price ($35), easy installation
process, mobility, working ability with both Android and iOS devices makes it a
real HOT deal

A: Right now Chromecast doesn't have many
optimized streaming sources (applications) like other streamers as Roku etc.
But things will only improve from here for Chromecast.
So when you are ordering your Chromecaster. Right now the stock is really short, so you may have to wait for few months.
